The 10th Savanna Comics’ Choice Comedy Awards are back after a two years break because of Covid 19 pandemic. The much talked about awards set takes place on Saturday April 15 at 17:30 – Sun Apr 16, 00:30 at the new location, The Galleria, M1 Place in Marlboro, Sandton. According to the organisers of the event it will be a glamorous night with the ‘who’s who’ in the comedy and media industry.
“Find out who’ll walk away with one of the 11 awards, whilst being entertained by comedy sketches from your favourite comedians, and celebrity appearances from your favourite stars.”
The event will be filmed for television which will be broadcast at a later stage on MeChannel 115 on DSTV, this comes after the media channel has been announced as a media partner of the awards. “By attending the event you consent to photography, audio and video recording and its/their publication on public platforms,” says the organisers.
To be part of the events, comedy fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets at Quicket.
