COMEDIAN RICHELIEU BEAUNOIR MAKES TOAST OF FELLOW STAND-UPS in COMEDY CENTRAL’S ROAST BATTLE ROUND 2
Johannesburg, 1 July 2016: Comedian Richelieu Beaunoir gave his fellow comics a proper toasting at the Comedy Central Roast Battle at Parker’s, Montecasino (Thursday 30 July). The poker-faced comedian smoked out fellow stand-ups Lihle Lindzy, Robby Collins, Gavin Kelly, Alyn Adams and Ebenhaezer Dibakwane with a series of scorching one-liners, epic takedowns and blazing insults.
Presided over by acerbic host John Vlismas with Nonhle Thema as the evenings MC, the six comedians battled it out in front of a live audience and judges Anele Mdoda and Joe Parker to win the Roast Battle honours.The battle lines were drawn up with Lindzyfacing Collins, Kelly going head to head against Adams, and Dibakwane jousting against Beaunoir.
