Lenny Kravitz merch has officially leveled up. As of now, fans can own a new Ken doll in the Grammy winner’s likeness. It’s an honor that Kravitz, 62, calls “so cool.”
“As a kid growing up with all my little cousins, there were Barbies everywhere, GI Joes and Kens and the whole thing,” Kravitz tells PEOPLE exclusively. “It just makes you think, ‘When I was a kid, did I ever think I would have my own figure? No.’”
The doll is part of the Barbie Signature Kenbassadors Collection. Kravitz is the second man to get his own Ken doll (the first was LeBron James in 2025). The doll wears a bronze-colored mesh cowl-neck tank and boot-leg denim jeans, a studded belt, boots and sunglasses — all reminiscent of what he wore on his recent worldwide Blue Electric Light Tour.
“The clothes that the doll is wearing are replications of the clothes that I’ve been wearing on the tour,” Kravitz explains.
“We got it down to all the details of the boots and the jeans and the belt with the holes and the rivets and the tops that I’ve been wearing. The glasses are exact replications of the vintage glasses from the late ‘60s that I’ve been wearing. The necklace around the neck was a necklace that belonged to my mother [Roxie Roker] that I wear.”
He says it was “fun” to work with the Barbie team to bring his doll to life, and he can’t deny that even the doll’s tattoos are impressive. He praises the team for the attention to detail, “down to the tattoo of my mom on the forearm.”
Because the doll was in its creation phase while Kravitz was on his Blue Electric Light Tour, he says it only made sense for the doll to dress like he was on the tour.
“I’ve been touring for two and a half years now on this album,” he says of his 2024 album of the same name. “We’re coming to a close. [The doll] marks this time and this tour, which has been really incredible for me. I think it’s been the best tour of my career.”
