Sneaker Of the Week: The Pokémon x Converse Joins forces for Colourful Collection Releases

Undoubtedly one of the most recognizable franchises to date, Pokémon has somehow integrated itself into worlds far beyond the small Game Boy screen. Streetwear and sneakers, too, have taken a liking to the series, often making use of its most iconic characters for collaborative capsules.

The Chuck Taylor serves as the canvas for the colorful cast, its multiple backdrops kept clean so as not to take away from the original 150’s most iconic. Atop two pairs in particular, the white and black Highs, multiple Pokémon take the stage, forgoing the difficult choice between a starter.

Elsewhere, the kids do have a more difficult decision to make, as they’re provided two low-tops designed to mirror Pikachu and Jiggly Puff alone.
