The Annual Savanna Comics Choice Awards is a couple of months away, and these awards are the essential occasion in South African comedy calendar. The nominees will be revealed on the 11 July at the Goliath and Goliath Comedy Club in Melrose Arch. Waldo will also announce the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, that one comedian who has championed SA comedy for 25 years or more.

The #SavannaCCA Lifetime Achiever award is made to an act with 25 years or more experience in comedy. The recipient will also have their very own “Grilling of a Lifetime” show at Parker’s Montecasino.
