Checking out one of Nike’s latest offerings, we see an established flair for mixing and combining forms. This most recent skateboard sneaker puts together the SB Dunk Low’s close-to-the-ground build and midsole with the Koston 3’s elevated profile. The result is the Nike SB Dunk High Elite, featured here in a very familiar colorway. The Air Jordan 1’s OG “Royal” scheme finds its way to this new model, and the execution doesn’t leave much to be desired. The upper’s outer layer is made up of Jacquard, while the inner linings and sleeves are comprised of Flyknit. This sort of set-up allows riders to roll around with a sneaker that gives them elite lock down and a 1-to-1 fit that is sock-like. The midsole is reminiscent of the Dunk, one of the most recognizable hoop shoes of all time, and is put to some good use on this skateboarding sneaker. The color scheme definitely doesn’t hurt efforts here either. Whether you are a regular at the skate parks or not, you can cop these on July 20th, 2017.
