Sneaker Of The Week: CONVERSE CHUCK MODERN LUX

For decades since its introduction at the beginning of the 20th Century, the Chuck Taylor All Star was favorite for just about everyone—including Michael Jordan, who wanted to sign with Converse instead of Nike so that he could wear Chucks on court. (Nike eventually sweetened the deal. A lot.)

The only drawback of the Chuck is that it is almost too casual— but this weekend Converse is taking the style to a whole new level. The Chuck Modern Lux takes the normally canvas silhouette and covers it entirely in fine grain leather, adding a tonal sole and laces for a solid, understated look.
