South African comedy pioneers Kagiso Lediga and Tumi Morake has been nominated for 2017 South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAS). Lediga got a nod for Best Actor In TV Comedy while Tumi got a nod for Best TV Presenter. The nominations breakfast gala took place in Bryanston, Johannesburg.

The ceremony, which recognizes the achievements in the local film and TV industry is set to take place on the 16 March in Sun City, Rustenburg.
