Former medical doctor turned comedian, father of four, husband and an actor, Riaad Moosa speaks to Azania Mosaka, about his kids, being 40 and his upcoming show, back by popular demand. Life Begins at 40 is on at the Auto and General Theater on The Square in Sandton. The show will run from 27 March until April.
The comedian said he has realised that in his 40s he has a lot more to talk about – and what better way to do so than through comedy. He joked that he has changed a lot and needs therapy.
“Usually, you pay someone to hear you talk, so I thought I would talk on stage and get people to pay me.”
He said his show speaks about his kids, the changing political landscape and a lot more other things.
