She’s left people in stitches with her YouTube videos and now she’s destined for the big screen. Taking to Instagram over the weekend, Samuel expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to realise her dreams.
“Thanks @disneystudios. God bless everyone whose support has added to bringing us here. I never dreamed of being here so soon. I miss Success. I love you all,” she said in an Instagram post.
Staying true to her comedic side, Samuel jokingly pleaded with Disney’s costume department to “please package me well”.
Samuel first shot to fame after featuring in her cousin Mark Angel’s comedy video My Real Face.
In 2015, she was awarded the G Influence Niger Delta Special Talent Award, as well as a Nigerian Teen Choice Award Choice Young Online Sensation in 2016.
That same year, she was awarded the Best New Comedienne and Princess of Comedy honours at the Afro-Australia Music and Movie Awards in Australia.
She was also the first African to claim the bragging rights of having one million subscribers on her YouTube comedy channel.
