Steve Harvey kicks off Season 6 of his daytime show on Tuesday from a new city and with a subtle change in format. The newly rechristened “Steve” (2 p.m. on WNBC/Ch. 4) has landed in LA after five seasons in Chicago. It’s still airing on NBC stations — as did its predecessor, “The Steve Harvey Show” — with Harvey now a producer, along with IMG.
“Steve” has been retooled with a more late-night feel (desk, monologue, celebrity guests) and will make Harvey’s commuting life much easier; “Family Feud,” which he taped in Atlanta, has moved to LA, along with Harvey’s daily syndicated radio show. Harvey also hosts, among other shows, “Celebrity Family Feud,” “Funderdome,” “Little Big Shots” and the upcoming Fox series “Live at the Apollo.”
