The 11th Savanna Comics’ Choice Comedy Awards is here to celebrate South African cream of the crop comedians. The awards show seeks to elevate comics, their status and cement their names in comedy history. The celebration show is set to take place on the 13 April at the world-famous Lyric Theatre, Johannesburg.
The event will give 12 awards to deserving comedians judged by independent panelists, while some were voted by their own comedy peers. This year’s awards will be rolled out, as a hilarious variety show hosted by comedian Mpho ‘Popps’ Modikoane and his fellow comedians Khanyisa Bunu and Roby Collins.
