Comedian and entreprenur David Kau is back with the 19th edition of the iconic Blacks Only Comedy Show at the world famous arena Pieter Toerien Theatre at Monte Casino on the 07 October 2023.
This year’s lineup includes a number of comedians, old and new cats that includes Tatz Nkonzo, best known for his sharp observational humor and relatable anecdotes, Marc Lottering, a veteran of the South African comedy scene, Celeste Nthuli, Popularly referred to as the Queen of Zulu comedy, Alan Committee, a comedic stalwart, Committee’s satirical take on everyday life is sure to leave the audience in stitches and two rising comedy stars in Mzansi Mo Mathebe and Thapelo King Flat Mametja.
The hilarious line-up for this year’s event includes a stellar cast of comedic talents:
- Tatz Nkonzo: A rising star, and television personality, best known for his sharp observational humor and relatable anecdotes.
- Marc Lottering: A veteran of the South African comedy scene, Lottering brings his signature larger-than-life characters and side-splitting stories to the stage.
- Celeste Nthuli: Popularly referred to as the Queen of Zulu comedy. Her infectious energy and fearless comedy continues to captivate audiences across the nation.
- Mojak Lehoko: A versatile comedian who effortlessly weaves together clever insights and laugh-out-loud moments. He’s also known as a script writer and actor.
- Mo Mathebe: Mathebe’s unique perspective and quick wit make for a comedy experience that is both thought-provoking and hilarious. Although an Economics graduate, his passion lies with comedy.
- Thapelo King Flat Mametja: He’s an award-winning comedian, and returns to the Blacks Only lineup due to popular demand.
- Alan Committee: A comedic stalwart, Committee’s satirical take on everyday life is sure to leave the audience in stitches.
