Comedian David Kibuuka is one of the greatest and baddest political reporters I have ever seen doing comedic political reporting on television. To prove my point, some of you have seen him as international field reporter/correspondent on the Late Nite News with Loyiso Gola on eNCA and eTV. As someone who follows and report news on comedy, I still don’t understand why Kibuuka is not featured on the Daily show as one of the reporters. The brother is too damn good and he should be given a chance if you ask me. I do understand, Trevor Noah has allowed him to be part of the writing team of his tv show.
The Pure Monate Show alumni is a writer and producer on The Daily Show and Podcast co-host with Trevor Noah on Luminary podcast network, however, I do believe that brother Dave can do more for the Daily Show given his talent and journalistic reporting. I don’t know maybe I’m barking on the wrong tree, Dave should raise his hand and say, team, I’m available and interested to take up the challenge as one of the correspondents of the Daily Show. With the looming elections is the United States, I think now is the right time and Mr Kibuuka is the right man for the job.
