[LIVE STREAM] We’re delighted to host actor and screenwriter, Mpho Osei Tutu, and South Africa’s First Lady of Comedy, Tumi Morake, for what promises to be a fun and engaging evening! Tumi and Mpho will be sharing their journey with us, talking about what it took to build their careers as creative entrepreneurs, currently being stuck in the US during a global pandemic and what that means for a couple of creatives far away from home.
Always pushing boundaries, Tumi was the first woman to host ‘Comedy Central Presents’ on the African continent. Beyond her comedy, Tumi has channelled her talents into acting, producing and authoring her 2018 book, ‘And Then Mama Said.”
Mpho is an award winning screenwriter, producer, director and actor whose unlimited talents have earned him various coveted awards such as the Best Writing in a Comedy at the 2019 SAFTAs.
