Steph Curry’s trolling skills were on full display last night when he broke out a pair of custom “Moon Landing” Under Armour Curry 6s after making headlines last month by joking about the moon landing. But it wasn’t all fun and games for the Warriors star, who will be auctioning off the autographed, game-worn, shoes for a good cause.
Curry has partnered with DonorsChoose.org and Ebay for Charity to offer fans a chance at the custom shoes from last night, which were just one of two pairs produced by customizer Mache.
100 percent of proceeds from the auction will benefit STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education initiatives in the Bay Area, a cause which is near and dear to Curry and his wife, Ayesha.
“Every child deserves the opportunity to acquire the skills they’ll need to live successful, productive lives. One of the most effective ways to set our children up for success is to ensure they receive excellent STEM education. Ayesha and I are passionate about making sure that STEM education is accessible and available to all children in the Bay Area,” Curry said in a press release.
