Trevor Noah is not the only local comedian flying the SA flag high in New York, Loyiso Gola just made his debut on rapper 50 Cent’s BET comedy show. The show is called 50 Central and airs on the American network on Wednesdays in the late-night slot.
Loyiso posted a picture with the rapper on his social media platforms with the caption:
“Thank you to @50cent for giving me the opportunity to do stand up on your TV show. Thank you for giving me my US TV debut. I had fun.”
In 2016, Gola made his debut US comedy special, Loyiso Gola Live in New York. He also been featured by CNN on their profile series, African Voices.
