Loyiso Gola in Australia to headline Melbourne Comedy Festival

South African comedy pioneer Loyiso Gola is on a world tour, currently is in Australia to Melbourne Comedy Festival. The festival kick off this weekend and Gola is one of the headliners on the line up. It seems like the funnyman has reached the glassceiling, talking to the Sydney Morning Herald he said “About five years ago I started coming here and checking it out,” he says. “Trying to feel what the audience is up to. What they could grasp and not grasp. I’ve kind of reached a certain point in South Africa and I needed to find the next thing to do.”
